A Culturally Uplifting Private Education Experience
S-Shem Ser Qenu (SSQ) was first established in 2004 to provide Culturally Centered education for marginalized children and youth. The name S-Shem Ser Qenu means ‘discipline leads us to victory’. It was chosen to reflect the need in our community to self-discipline ourselves so that we may reestablish the institutional frameworks used by our forefathers and foremothers who gave birth to civilization worldwide. With its re-emergence in 2014 backed by many years of experience, SSQ’s commitment and dedication to educating our children had only strengthened.
